What does it mean for an elder to be above reproach?

Thank you for reminder of being a Biblical Elder. I have recently moved to a different state and attend a different church. I am an ordained Pastor and an Elder at my previous church. I understand that I am not an active Elder at my new church. However, I still strive to serve as an Elder Pastor at my new church.
